Dearest Sister, I hope this finds you all well and enjoying life. Also that Jimmie is or will be home for Christmas. I am, as you will note, in the hospital. Have been here for over a month and likely to be for some time to come. Am feeling grand and improved a lot. Gone thru a lot of tests, x-ray and so forth and tomorrow they will make a microscopic examination to determine whether there is a cancerous growth as they suspect might be. Roma is here in Dayton and visits me every day. Ruth is living in our house, Eleanor at her home at Columbia Center and Elizabeth is in Detroit. Yours Affectionately, Ben
