Dear Helen, Called Mother last night and was glad to talk to her. Talked to Pop too and he said he was feeling much better. Guess the Dahlstroms will be out West soon. Guess Cully accepted a good job in Chicago and they will be going back. Glad had probably written already and you know more about it than I do. All our mail is censored now and feels funny. Just like somebody is looking over your shoulder. Yesterday was nice and it rained today. The damp is very clean, though, and isn’t all sand like the last place. We are on the Atlantic Coast now but can’t say where. After we get across it will be okay to tell you then. Our A.P.O. is New York but we aren’t there. Maybe Mother will be there by the time you have your baby. Suppose you want a girl this time. Bet it’s another boy. Will write again soon. Love, Jim |
