Dear Folks,
Well we all went out to Gladys’ place Saturday after work and had an awfully nice time. She had a nice lunch and we played cards for a while and went for a walk down by the lake. Irma and I both stayed all night and came in town with Gladys and Cully this noon. Selma and I were here all day and Selma went out about six. Betty and Bill wanted me to go to a show with them but I didn’t feel like going any place.
Warnie just called and said he will pick me up at school tomorrow night. It’s been nice having Warnie to go around with when Elmer is gone.
Have Stella and Harold had the pictures of the baby developed yet. I am awfully anxious to see them.
I’m glad to hear that Jimmie was going to work Saturday at the store. I’m glad he can get his student body ticket. Selma and Al just came home. They are going to Milwaukee and start early tomorrow morning. Al’s mother and sister are going along too. Selma said they might get married. I hope they do. I haven’t called Mrs. Ellsworth yet because I wanted to be able to make a date to see her and I wanted to talk to Gladys first. She is always so busy though so I will call Mrs. Ellsworth anyway.
I have some underwear soaking in the wash bowl so am going to wash that out. I should write to Elmer too but I think I will let that go until tomorrow night.
With Love, Helen
