Gladys Erwin 1120 Cole St., Enumclaw, Washington |
Dear Gladys: Just a line or two just to tell you why I haven't written to you before. The Shell basketball team is supposed to play a game with some team at Vancouver, B.C. I couldn't possibly miss out on such a game as that. They are intending to have this game this week and another down here next week. If this goes through as we think it will, well it will all happen this Saturday night. Am very sorry to have caused all the excitement and not have anything come out of all your efforts. Just the same, I really do appreciate what you have done. I really should have let you know before, but then the game was just talk; but now they really think the game will actually go through. This is all that I have time for right now. Hoping this finds you as well as it leaves us. Hoping to see you in the near future. Gerald |
