My dear Girls,
You have [been] neglected the past week. I have been so very busy. Will hurry with this note now so Papa can mail it when he goes to work.
Stella is going to serve at Dorothy’s wedding April 8th. She wonders if you will send her the dress you wore at Eden’s wedding, Helen? Said she will pay postage both ways. If you send it, please hurry with it and if not, let her know at once either way. She will be careful with it.
I had the baby over the weekend. The kids went up skiing Saturday night. Stayed at Hank’s cabin and did not get down until late Sunday night.
Papa and I took a nice long drive down into the valley and saw the daffodils – thousands of cars were out to see the same. Bernice was so happy, laughed and chattered all the time.
We had a church meeting last night so we did not get home until late. Will write tonight.
Much love, Mother.
