Dear Sadie, I was very glad to hear that Winnifred was getting along so nicely. I hope she will be out soon. Our poor girl had to be sent home. She will have to have an operation on her liver[?]. We haven't heard whether it has been done yet or not. Everything has been in confusion here and I didn't get all the letters written that I expected to. Did Winnifred get her flowers? Mamma hasn't written so I don't know. Lovingly, Blanche. |
