Albert Erwin Box 44, Enumclaw, Washington |
Dear Albert, Arrived in Denver 30 minutes late. The lady in the upper berth to mine and I walked up town about 15 blocks, had dinner and are now back to the depot. Our train is due out in about an hour. Everything is going fine. So glad I have a berth though. The bed felt so good last night. Hope you feel stronger all the time. Perhaps there will be a letter at Helen’s waiting for me. There are lots of people traveling. Our coach is filled all the time. As fast as one gets off there is someone else to take their place. When we arrived it rained a little, but has cleared now. So far the weather is not too hot. Hope it continues nice until I get there at least. More tomorrow. With Love, Sadie |
