Dear Gladys:
Everything is O.K. down here. That is, the girl friend will go next Sunday. Now where shall we go? Last Sunday was the first day they danced at Lake Wilderness. Gertrude has never been up towards the mountain so there you are. If it stays warm, I suppose we could go swimming at Lake Wilderness. By the way, I am going to get that portable "Vic" from the kid down here.
How do you want to arrange. Do you want to eat where we go. Or take "grub" with us. It really doesn't make any difference to us. If you want to take grub along we can arrange. I can persuade mother into making something. But we don't want much.
What time shall we come and where shall we go?
Answer as soon as you can.
This letter doesn't give much information only that Gertrude will be there.
Hoping to hear from you soon.
Jerry.
